The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 26 maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 25 – 31 March 2025. The following incidents were recorded:
- 25-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – Authorities intercept submarine carrying 6.5 tonnes of cocaine, south of the Azores.
- 25-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – 260 kilos of narcotics intercepted off the coast of Oman.
- 25-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – 42kg of cocaine seized in Isola Bianca Olbia port, Sardinia, Italy.
- 25-MAR-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 129 migrants intercepted in the English Channel.
- 26-MAR-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 357 migrants arrive on south coast of England.
- 26-MAR-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 23 migrants detained off Cannakkale, Turkey.
- 26-MAR-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 24 migrants intercepted in Izmir, Turkey.
- 26-MAR-25 Attack – Israeli air strikes hit the Port of Latakia, Syria.
- 26-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – Royal Navy intercepts £5.4 million worth of drugs in the Arabian Sea.
- 26-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – $6.3 million worth of cocaine intercepted near Port Everglades, Florida.
- 27-MAR-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 236 migrants arrive on the south coast of England.
- 27-MAR-25 General Security Warning – Greenpeace activists delay vessels entering the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium.
- 27-MAR-25 General Security Warning – Port of San Antonio blockaded by fishing boats, Chile.
- 28-MAR-25 Drugs Interdiction – Over six tons of cocaine seized in Gulf of Guinea.
