The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 22 maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 08 – 14 April 2025. The following incidents were recorded:
- 08-APR-25 Hijacking – IRGC seize unidentified tanker in the Persian Gulf.
- 08-APR-25 Boarding – Container vessel GH MAESTRO boarded off Abidjan, Cote D’ivoire, Gulf of Guinea.
- 08-APR-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 432 migrants intercepted in the English Channel.
- 08-APR-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 6 migrants and 3 suspected smugglers intercepted off Mugla, Turkey.
- 08-APR-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 24 migrants and 3 suspected smugglers intercepted off Mugla, Turkey.
- 08-APR-25 Migrant & Refugee Incident – 214 Rohingyan migrants intercepted in Bay of Bengal.
- 08-APR-25 Drugs Interdiction – Navy intercepts semisubmersible off the Colombian Pacific Coast.
- 09-APR-25 General Security Warning – GPS interference and attacks in the Red Sea.
- 09-APR-25 Drugs Interdiction – 27 suspected drug smugglers arrested by Nigerian Navy.
- 09-APR-25 Drugs Interdiction – U.S. Coast Guard offload 22 tons of seized drugs at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale.

- 14-APR-25 Drugs Interdiction – 300 kilograms of narcotics seized in Arabian Sea.
