The Securewest International Maritime Assistance Centre (MAC) recorded 21 maritime related incidents during the reporting period of 04 – 10 February 2025. The following incidents were recorded:
- 04-FEB-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – Migrant detained on a paddleboard off the Bahamas.
- 04-FEB-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 37 migrants apprehended, and 16 migrants rescued off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 04-FEB-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 16 migrants and one smuggling suspect intercepted off coast of Mugla, Turkey.
- 04-FEB-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 18 migrants intercepted off coast of Aydin, Turkey.
- 04-FEB-25 Robbery – RIB stolen at Anse Mitan, Martinique.
- 05-FEB-25 Drugs Interdiction – U.S. Coastguard patrols intercept drug smugglers in Eastern Pacific Region.
- 05-FEB-25 Drugs Interdiction – Narco sub seized off Colombia.
- 05-FEB-25 Migrant and Refugee Incident – 25 migrants land in Sardinia.
