About the Course:
STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) is an online, MCA-approved course, designed for all seafarers. This course is compulsory and the minimum training requirement for staff/crew who do not have assigned designated security duties on board vessels and mobile offshore units.
Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) provides the knowledge required to enable personnel with basic security awareness in support of the Ships Security Plan. The course has been developed in accordance with the Maritime Labour Convention and the Manila Amendments of 2010, which detail a mandatory requirement for all seafarers to receive security awareness training.
