The following incidents were recorded:
- 27-SEP-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Turkey rescues 118 migrants after Greek push back.
- 27-SEP-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Cuban migrants come ashore in Pompano Beach, Florida.
- 27-SEP-22 – Drugs Interdiction – U.S. Coast Guard seizes $85 million of heroin in the Gulf of Oman.
- 28-SEP-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 23 missing after Cuban migrant boat sinks off Florida due to Hurricane Ian.
- 28-SEP-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Sri Lankan navy detains 44 illegal migrants off Trincomalee.
- 29-SEP-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Almost 500 migrants cross the English Channel.
- 01-OCT-22 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – Migrant rescued in small inflatable boat off Gran Canaria along with four recovered bodies.
- 01-OCT-22 – Robbery – Dinghy and outboard motor stolen from Surfside Beach Anchorage, Aruba.
Key:
Robbery: Theft from a vessel or from persons aboard the vessel. |
Migrant and Refugee Incident: This could involve Search and Rescue (SAR) operations, or information about a boat capsizing and people drowning, or an attack on the group. |
Drugs Interdiction: Focused on interrupting illegal drugs smuggled by sea, usually a large number of drugs are seized. |
