incidents during the reporting period of 17 – 23 December 2024. The following incidents were recorded:
- 17-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 35 migrants apprehended and 29 rescued off the coast of Izmir, Turkey.
- 17-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 108 migrants intercepted near Puerto Rico, Caribbean.
- 17-DEC-24 – Drugs Interdiction – Over 945 kilos of drugs intercepted in the port of Tincan, Nigeria.
- 17-DEC-24 – Robbery – Underway bulk carrier CAPE STAR robbed in Singapore Strait.
- 17-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 24 migrants rescued off coast of Aydin, Turkey.
- 17-DEC-24 – Drugs Interdiction – $1.85 million worth of liquid cocaine discovered in Gdansk, Poland.
- 18-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 34 migrants detained off Aydin, Turkey.
- 18-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 92 migrants detained off Izmir, Turkey.
- 18-DEC-24 – Migrant and Refugee Incident – 43 migrants repatriated following interception off Florida, USA.
- 18-DEC-24 – Drugs Interdiction – 20 kilos of marijuana intercepted off Mandapam, India.
- 18-DEC-24 – Robbery – Anchored container vessel NORDMAAS robbed at Vung Tau Anchorage, Vietnam.
